One Shirt, Three Ways ;Day 64
One Shirt, Three Ways
Exactly what it says on the tin, or in our case, in the title. I have chosen a rather beautiful blouse from Monki that I believe in a statement piece to pair with practically any outfit. Therefore, I worked my Photoshop magic and created a couple of little inspirational collages for you to perhaps grab some idea's from and hopefully brush off the dust from that one blouse you adored but for some reason has been abandoned in your closet!
Look One; City Chic
I love the simplicity of this outfit. I think this is a perfect look for a casual do such as lunch with a friend, drinks or a date night. Or if you're hardcore and can stand heels for longer than a couple of hours then this could work wonderfully for a days shopping or running some errands (obviously you wont be running anywhere in those heels.. Broken ankles anyone?) Perhaps the cherry on top could be a dash of red lippy?
Look Two; 80's Girl
This look is much more laid back than my previous one. I can just picture this look beautifully with a big pair of sunglasses and long wavy hair dangling down by the ears. Or even a short croppy do like Pixie Geldof once had just to add a real retro vibe. The lipstick I chose is in the shade 'watermelon' and I think it's such a warm Autumn colour to add to any outfit with a lot of darker colours.
Look Three; Urban Honey
My favourite of all three! Classic Autumn colour, burgundy! I think this is all the colour you need for this outfit as I've focused mainly on black with the accessories. I've then picked out the gold of the buckles with a chunky gold necklace, which just adds a little spice and decoration to the blouse. I love adding necklaces to a collared blouse/shirt as it really makes an outfit interesting and dynamic.
Those are just a few idea's for you to play around with. Hopefully they have given you some new outfit idea's on how dynamic a blouse/shirt can be. As we're entering Autumn the temperature is turning a little chilly so now is the time before the icy winds kick in to make the most of our favourite long sleeve chiffon fabrics.
Cha'll for now. Peace&Love xoxox
