I visited a small vintage chic cafe with a couple of buddies and thought I'd pap the place and upload the footage for my blog seeing as they have some adorable furniture pieces and decoration.
I love little cafes and hide away tea rooms where you can have a good old catch up with your favourite people accompanied with cake and tea. What could be more perfect?!
This decoration and styling is exactly the road I want to go down when I'm able to afford my own place. I love the wear and tear vintage look with a little urban appeal to it and looks effortless yet still homely and cosy.
I also think it's a very classic British way of design with the faded florals and big old clumsy cabinets and bookshelves. You then have the touches of sanded down wood, worn out pictures and rugs and industrial pieces of decoration such as scrap metal candle sticks and old rusty windows with added slabs of mirror.
This place was called Scallywags and is a fairly new cafe in my local town. It's extremely cosy and a great hide away from the busy town especially when all you want to do is buy the whole interior (which is actually for sale! Each and pretty much every piece of furniture) .
Thank you for having us[:
