Upside Down Layering
Layering up but not in the most traditional manner- instead I went for almost an upside down style by wearing a t-shirt over the top of a shirt.
I had seen this a couple of times over Instagram from fellow bloggers and loved the whole casual, effortless vibe is oozes.
Shirts can sometimes look quite smart and formal depending on what they've been paired with, but by throwing over a t-shirt it creates a much more boy'ish everyday look, which I absolutely adore.
My shirt is a cream with black splodges dotted all over design from Boohoo and is actually a very boxy fit with a wide neck collar- not your usual button down shirt!

Over the top is another boxy piece, this time from All Saints and my jeans are of course my absolute favourite's of all time from Boohoo. I can not rave about these bad boys enough as I have never found a pair of jeans so flattering on my figure, comfortable that they're not cutting off the blood supply to my waist or legs and are so versatile I have to try not to wear them with every single outfit.
On my feet I have my Primark faux snake skin boots in a burgundy shade as this outfit doesn't consist of a lot of colour, so why not add a little dash within the shoes?!
I wore my MAC lipstick in the shade 'Whirl' as I thought this completed the look by using a darker lip colour rather than something bold, almost slipping the whole outfit back to the 90's?
